Vance and Hines Pro Pipe review

It isn't very often when you find a set of pipes for your Harley Davidson that have no flaws but I would swear that to be the case with the Vance and Hines Pro Pipes. If you have never had the luxury of owning a pair of Vance and Hines pipes then that is a shame. I've used them on a whole of motorcycles over the years from Metric sportbikes and cruisers to Harley Davidsons so I am pretty familiar with them. The ability is all the time consistent and they achieve well. The pipe I am reviewing today is one I have used many times and that is the Vance and Hines Pro Pipe.

I am a big fan of the 2 into 1 Harley Pipe anyways and the Vance and Hines Pro Pipe fits that bill nicely. A 2 into 1 pipe from one of my beloved manufacturers, so here are my thoughts on the pipe.

I have installed over a dozen of these pipes on various motorcycles over the years and never had a singular fit issue. Vance Hines recently changed the way they chrome their pipes and they now use their "blue proof" technology over the entire length of the pipe including the muffler body. In new years it has only been applied to the heat shields and this is a nice expanding to ensure your pipes look new for as long as possible.

I will say that the chrome conclude on any Vance and Hines pipe is going to be consistently some of the best conclude nearby on any Harley Pipes on the market. You will not be disappointed with the fit or conclude of the Vance and Hines Pro Pipe.

Vance and Hines Pro Pipe Sound 2 into 1 Harley pipes have a very clear sound that you will whether love or hate. They sound dissimilar than the usual 2 into 2 pipes you might be more familiar with but I happen to prefer the sound of the 2 into 1 myself. A 2 into 1 Harley pipe is typically quieter than a 2 into 2 at idle and midrange and then it will start to wail at wide open throttle.

I will say that if you are a loud pipe fan then the Pro Pipe might not be for you. Don't get me wrong, it definitely has a deep, salutary exhaust note that I can only report as having more bass to it than a typical 2 into 2 pipe. The deep, guttural exhaust note is one of the sweetest sounds I've ever heard. I think you'll be a big fan.

Vance and Hines 2 into 1 Power Power increases are all the time something you need to take with a grain of salt. I say this because it will depend dramatically on your existing state of tune and your current pipe as to how much of an growth you will see with this pipe. Typically you will see a strong growth from a 2 into 1 pipe in the usable torque range which is where you spend the majority of your time riding your bike.

The way a 2 into 1 Harley pipe works its magic is that the fabricate of the pipe allows for a much great scavenging succeed of the cylinder than most customary 2 into 2 pipes. I don't claim to know the physics behind this but I can tell you from riding hundreds of these bikes that it happens.
